Yes, a portal for 2.0 would work with 2.2 with a considerable amount of work.

I may be confusing you entirely...phpBB 2.0 will upgrade to 2.2 with the script the developers will provide.

I'm writing a portal for phpBB 2.1.2 too, but you don't hear me spamming

Mine is called NA-Nuke, NotAnother-Nuke, because I agree completely

phpBB Portal will come out after phpBB 2.2 does (maybe months behind, maybe the day after, who knows).

PHPPP has only released two files so far in CVS, and they were last updated a year ago
