Then (in IE) hold down the CTRL key and scroll down with your mouse wheel. Or, go to the View Menu, point to text size, and choose Large, Largest, or whatever.

It's designed like that so that people with bad eyesite or torubvle reading can boost the text size. Previously it was fixed at a small number of pixels meant it could not be changed.
