Nice one, I hope he'll take a look at it. Anyway, just to inform you, we are planning to include a complete semantical correct XHTML/CSS2 template (not as the default one), and work is ongoing. We chose so far to do the post listings as divs, which works quite well, viewtopic, index and viewforum will have their data in tables.
The phpBB 2.2 code is almost there with some minor code issues (post id's as numerical values, they need to start with a letter) and a few hardcoded forms that need to be looked into. We want the code to stop no one from doing a XHTML 1.0 Strict valid template.

(But I suppose it could be read the way you obviously meant it (/me slaps grammar ))

True, but
a) It was late when I first read it
b) I was lazy when I reread, and didn't see second ,
c) I dislike grammer (and tbh, think the english language is bleurg)
I really would love to see a XHTML/CSS based design with appropriate use of tables feature in the release of phpBB 2.2. The advantages of a XHTML/CSS are endless and when coded right, it should be perfectly working in recent browsers (IE5.x/Win and up, Mozilla 1.x, Netscape 7, Opera 7.x, Safari 1.0, IE5.x/Mac).
