Hi,
yes, I know, there is no support for CVS releases - but I'm trying to install it for 2 weeks now (every daily build), but all I get after successfull installation is (in the admin area):
Could not get style data
When I want to see the forums itself, I get a blank page.
Uhm, did I forgot something?
phpBB cvs release ... doesn't work at all?

Unsupported means worked it out yourself, or don't use it in the first place.

Perhaps you could set up a page b4 u get to the CVS area, something like
" I hereby agree that in the event of asking for support on any CVS release, I am a complete idiot and will donate the equvilaent of £500 to phpBB. "

If that were to happen, the phpBB group would have enough to retire by now.Roberdin wrote:Perhaps you could set up a page b4 u get to the CVS area, something like

Basically if you have no idea about php or mysql i'd suggest that after trying to install a cvs snapshot it doesn't work you just accept defeat and go use the latest released version.
