Perhaps no one sees any point in replying when your mind is clearly made up? We are interested in opinions, but generally it's not a "good idea" to start with "You need to dump that, that looks bad, this looks like X board", etc. ... it's called "tact" and it's use can achieve wonderous results

While many people here seem to continually assault the phpBB 2.2 'staff' with something along the lines of...

Everyone seems to forget that everyone wants similar things, and board systems do tend to mimic eachother's feature lists. However, that doesn't mean that all boards will end up identical - the thing that really sets them apart is the code that powers them. While Invision's code (in my opinion) excessively bulky, phpBB is graceful and only includes exactly what it needs. If psoTFX simply wanted to duplicate Invision's feature list, he would have finished months ago by coppying the code across. Instead, he and the other developers have taken great pains to ensure each piece of code is orginal and efficent. (Either that or they just like teasing us by dealying release times )
