New topic/Post reply - buttons...

Post by espenhh »

It seems to me that you guys have changed many of the images...

My question is:
Why is the blue border of the new topic/post reply - buttons SO thick.
It don't look great, thats my opinion

(and yes, I know this is changeable for us, but why make it look nice from the beginning?)

Hope this is a bug :P

BTW; this is a great software!!! I don't want to sound spoilt, just had to tell you what I felt about this

Everyone has their own "taste" ... I like them 'as is', as do many people. We can't please everyone ;)

Because they are half the size ... I did have them @ 2px border widths but they just didn't really look "right".

Okay... I see your point...

Hopefully I get used to them, and luckily I can change them in my own forum!

There is no reason to believe that any of the images here at present will be those in the final package. This is all a work in progress.

I like the bigger borders on those 2 buttons, it defines them better. :D

I prefer the thinner 1px borders as it's more in fitting with the CSS styling for the tables... but it's work in progress and I'd rather core code was dealt with rather than people moaning about buttons and templates. ;)

We can start worrying about then come RC or some such. :P

Is subSilver going to be the default theme for release? It would be cool if you could download phpBB 2.2 with a few different themes (even if they were just colour variations of subSilver).
Images in sigs! please.

i do relay like the buttons...

Hope they will be part of the 2.2 final release.

But if they are not, can't you "hand them out" on the main phpBB site?

that would be cool
