Are you guys progressing the right direction? Why is the newest download smaller than the one before it?

Smaller file sizes doesn't mean less, or lack of progress. But I haven't seen any CVS activity since the 11th, so I don't see why the file sizes have been changing since then...

Maybe, just maybe that the new piece of code is actually smaller in size yet provides the same, or perhaps even more functionality?

There isn't just one way of doing things... particularly for code.

If you download some CVS snapshots, you will see that a lot of things aren't necissary. These things might slowly be getting taken out, or the team just might be making things a lot more efficient. (woot!)

Not to mention that everytime those snapshots are compressed it comes to a sligtly diffrent size. I would say there was no change just a diffrence in compression.
