Gah, it looks even more complex than the previous version... Entering into that Invision esque CSS editing. What about those of us that have not a clue about CSS?

Learn it.

Skills would be applicable to doing general web thingies, and more efficient than legacy styling methods.

CSS is the way styling should be accomplished with HTML. I believe the system were using is far more flexible than the old system (which limited you to a certain number of colours or classes), or any comparable system.

To be honest, I don't think people who know nothing about X/HTML + CSS should even be allowed websites *rant*

Hrm...

vBulletin does have a lot of features, yes.

BUT do the vB Crew:

Do everything voluntarily
Maintain a website with their own money, not what they raised
Allow the free use of phpBB
Have a community greater than what phpbb have? Nope.

There is much more to say, but I need to be off now, anyone else care to finish this?

vBulletin has a great hack community... unfortunately you need to register yearly to gain access to the database of them.

I just think people that don't know HTML shouldn't be on the web writing sites, I dunno, it's prolly just me being snobby but it really bugs me when people do things that they know nothing about.

It'd be like me trying to build a car without taking a mechanics course. *shrugs*
