it's fixed in the latest CVS snapshot found at area51.phpbb.com/cvs
We figured it had to be due to an incomplete CVS update or a cached .js file… but it works perfectly on all tested browsers and it works here as well.

Actually, I did some testing of it because I had the same trouble, but it's working now.
