I want to know if its possible to have lets say a variable in a template and then dynamacly include another file there from within php.
kinda like this
<body>
{HOLDER_VAR}
</body>
and then from within the script include another template in HOLDER_VAR kinda like this
$template->assaign_var ('HOLDER_VAR', TemplateFile.html);
I know this way doesn't work, but just so you get a rought idea of what i want to do. And see if there is, or if you engineers can think of a way to do this.
Including templates from the script
Re: Including templates from the script
There is now! I wouldn't blame you for not knowing, it was just recently added.
$template->assign_display() should do the job
$template->assign_display() should do the job
Freedom from fear
Re: Including templates from the script
must be in the new function_template.php that i haven't had a change to take a look at. I been holding back updating my CVS copy until AcydBurn is done moving the admin panel to the module system.
EDIT:
sweet, just took a look at it in the sourceforge CVS respository viewer. Does exactly what i want it to do. I guess im forced to update my cvs copy now because i need this for my module
thanks for the heads up
