Apologies for last post, I did not intend it as spam.
If you are having trouble with the text size in IE see link below.

i dont really care for forums with 100% width, it really makes me mad with a widescreen but i live with it ...

otherwise i think subsilver is a nice little template...

You can change subSilver width by modifying one setting #wrapcentre set the margin to 100px and see what happens. The header will remain 100% as this look good but you can play around with the overall header to produce any width you like.

Actually you are best using:
#wrapcentre { margin-left: 100px; margin-right: 100px; margin-bottom: 50px; margin-top: 50px; }

CSS supports shorthand... use 'em:

Code: Select all

#wrapcentre { margin&#58 50px 100px; }

It works like the clock:

TOP RIGHT BOTTOM LEFT

So, for 2 values shorthand, because TOP is the first value:

TOP/BOTTOM RIGHT/LEFT

And, for 3 values shorthand, again because TOP is the first value and RIGHT the second:

TOP RIGHT/LEFT BOTTOM

So for #wrapcentre { margin-top: 50px; margin-left: 100px; margin-right: 100px; margin-bottom: 50px; }
I could write: #wrapcentre { margin: 50px 100px; } top/bottom right/left ?

Thanks dnl
