FTP ERROR: could not change directory to [xxx]

DO NOT give out any FTP passwords to anyone! There is no reason to do so! If you need help badly enough, create a temporary FTP account that is restricted to only the files that you need help with and give the information for that. Giving out FTP information can be very dangerous!

Hmm.... update!

For some reason my web server is now working! It's no longer failing on my test script, nor is it failing with easymod 0.3.0! :D

I asked my sever provider what changed, but I have not received an answer yet. From what I can see, I am still using PHP 4.4.0.

So whatever the problem was, for now it's a mystery and it's gone.

Thanks everyone for your help. If I find the root cause to this issue, I'll report it here.

MY server provider says they did not change a thing!! 8O


Grrrr... I wish I knew what was broken and now what got fixed! :evil:

Oh well, at least it's working again! 8)

Thanks for everyone's help with this. I'm sorry to take up valuable time and resources on some strange issue.
