Help installing Mods

Wondering why that MOD you have won't install correctly? Let's take a look

DO NOT give out any FTP passwords to anyone! There is no reason to do so! If you need help badly enough, create a temporary FTP account that is restricted to only the files that you need help with and give the information for that. Giving out FTP information can be very dangerous!

Help installing Mods

Post by KristyH »

I have installed easy mod (no problems there)

I go to install the mods I am interrested in
Admin_userlist_2

I have put it under the admin/mods/admin_userlist_2

and em is not picking it up at all

When I log into EM is says all mods processed

This is happening with the other mods I am attempting to install.

What am I doing wrong?

did you unzip it first and then upload all the included files and folders to your newly created folder named admin_userlist2

Yes. I did unzip them first.

I did not create a folder titled admin_userlist_2
I put the whole unzipped file under admin/mods/admin_userlist_2

When I transfered the file through the ftp it created a folder under the admin / mods directory
If I had created a folder it would have been admin/mods/admin_userlist_2/admin_userlist_2 I thought...

you are correct, you only want one directory with the name.

when I downloaded the MOD and unzipped it to my computer, it did not contain a folder named admin_userlist2 it just contained the files and folders.
using your ftp, check that you have it correct and that the paths are correct and that all the file/folder names are correct.
