Is there any way to "reformat" a forum?

Is there any way to "reformat" a forum?
I'd like to strip off all the mods I've added. I'm not able to do that with EasyMod (using the backup files) Can I put the forum back to the way it was initially without losing my topics?

I guess you could also undo the database and code changes by hand.
Like, work backwards through the MOD, and taking out all of the extra lines added in.
It would take alot of work though.
You could also try just uploading a fresh copy of all of the files that had been edited.

That might be a crazy work to do.
Initially, it would take hours to do that.
And it might not be successful. I guess its a 50-50 only.
If the phpBB is a heavily-modded its dead.

But of course, stripping the database would never work.
Oh of course; you could upload a fresh copy of the MODed files (files edited in a MOD install).
