Having problems installing EM? Let's fix that

[not EM] Help please ^^;;

Post by krazie88 » Sat Aug 21, 2004 5:49 am

I tried installing EM earlier after i upgraded to 2.0.10 for phpbb2.

This is what i get:
{{EM_debug_info}}
({{EM_debug_format}})
{{EM_debug_installer}} v{{EM_VERSION}} wrote: {{EM_phpBB_version}}: {{PHPBB_VERSION}}
{{EM_debug_work_dir}}: {{CWD}}
{{EM_debug_step}}: {{STEP}}
{{EM_debug_mode}}: {{MODE}}
{{EM_debug_the_error}} wrote: {{ERROR}}
{{EM_debug_permissions}}: ({{EM_debug_sys_errors}})
{{[./templates/file_access.tpl]}}

{{EM_debug_recommend}}:
{{EM_debug_write}}: {{WRITE_REC}}
{{EM_debug_move}}: {{MOVE_REC}}

{{EM_debug_selected}}:
{{EM_debug_write}}: {{WRITE_SEL}}
{{EM_debug_move}}: {{MOVE_SEL}}
{{EM_debug_ftp_dir}}: {{FTP_DIR}}
{{EM_debug_ftp_host}}: {{FTP_HOST}}
{{EM_debug_ftp_debug}}: {{FTP_DEBUG}}
{{EM_debug_ftp_ext}}: {{FTP_EXT}}
{{EM_debug_ftp_cache}}: {{FTP_CACHE}}

{{EM_debug_listing}}:

Code: Select all

{{FILE_LISTING}}
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_phpbb_version() in /hsphere/local/home/krazie88/thelastempire.net/phpBB2/admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php on line 265
Now, does the recent update have anything to do with this? Because i followed everything in the instructions.

Thx for your help in advanced,

Krazie

Are you sure you have uploaded all of the files and that they're in the right place?

Upload the entire contents of the zip file to phpBB2/admin/ (substituting your forums directory, if it's different), thus creating phpBB2/admin/mods/ and various subdirectories.

Make sure everything is in the right place and all the files are present.

How did you solve this problem? :oops:

Because I think I have the same thing, the dir is :

/forums/admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php

and when I go to that location in IE, yes the full url :), then it can't seem to find it, altough I can confirm that it is there cuz I see it in FTP. and when I place the ' easymod_install.php ' file 1 directory up :

/forums/admin/mods/easymod_install.php

it still can't find it, but :? when I place it up another folder, then I get a lot of garbage... meaning IE found the php file (the garbage came because that was not the correct place of the file)

Could you guys know any reason why that .php file can be found in IE in the admins folder but not in the sub-folders :?:

Thanks a lot m8

krazie88: good to hear you figured it out!

eXtreme: please start a NEW topic instead of jumping on this one. I would split the topic.... if that function worked :P
