Remember, if you want to affect a decision, you have to appeal to the development team, arguing with other community members really doesn't benefit anyone involved. I would say to argue against development team members, but do so respectfully please. ;)
That's why I said that's it's not up to me and simply made the suggestion that I've been attacked by trolls for. *I* think it would be better as official Extension, for the logical reasons given, but I *know* that it's up to the devs and I've said so. If it has to be in the core then all I asked for was an off-switch and was attacked for that too. I do appreciate that you've decided to give us a way to disable it though and I've said that too.

It's a shame so many take my suggestions and opinions so personally...but I've been civil to those that have been civil to me and even some that haven't. ;)

I was not trying to imply you didn't know this, I was trying to make it clear to everyone. :)

Yeah, I figured as much but I took the opportunity to appeal to reconsider the option to make it an Extension since most posts are plain text and many admins don't want it. If all we get is an off-switch, I can live with that but an "official Extension" makes more sense to me. ;)

That looks interesting, did you get custom bbcodes working with it?

Looking at the docs it seems pretty simple. I haven't tested it myself though.

Actually, the demo shows it is not working with custom bbcodes (fraction/mod).
custom bbcodes are shown as normal bbcodes, not wysiwyg.

Edit: you should probably create a test user instead of the current.

not working means what?

it means render ?

it not necessary render the custom bbcodes... vbulletin use ckeditor and not render the bbcodes.
some custom bbcodes have many functions and complex , render of them is bad idea.
