Well as he stated that is a last resort when everything else has failed. Doesn't sound "terrible" I suppose.

Yes. If this RFC were to be approved, we would not recommend even using the Python method unless no other methods work. However if you were to have no other way of accessing your forum, wouldn't you want to install Python and at least try instead of refusing? Plus python is a very useful tool. It has full integration with command prompt and I am glad I have it, it has served its purpose for a lot of things.
