Re: [RFC] Delete "Confirm e-mail address" from registration
If a user copy-pastes their email address and makes a typo, they would still have this problem. Same if for whatever reason the email does not get delivered. Of if you have it saved, like in Opera, and just need to press the first letter to get a list of e-mails. Then it's quite annoying to need to...

Re: Quick reply function guest accounts
I and many more phpbb admins like it to have this function. Well that makes 3 people and one guy who doesn't get the idea, that there is a post reply which allows guests to post things. @Topic: I don't see, why this thing would be any useful. If you are a guest, the post reply button should be more...

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites
Tqken into mind im kind of drunk at the moment but im Sorry that to me is a theme flaw and ignorance on the part of the user the CSS for my version will be alot easier to manipulate the simple stuff and I'm sorry but I can teach a monkey how to use firebug to make changes to a theme. Perhaps you sh...

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites
@David I understand this, however this is what I personally don't like from a developer stand point I'm not saying it does not have it's upsides. But well, making things harder than they are isn't quite useful. As you can see it in the phpbb support boards there are every day topics about simple th...

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites
personally the idea of baseing a theme off of another theme was the stupidest thing the devs have come up with, it stunts the growth and creativity associated with the software's interface, but thats just me. Where is this written? I never saw a statement like that somewhere. There are many designs...

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites
Though I like the idea, but I can see a lot of work to put into all styles which need to be updated. I, for me, wouldn't want to do that work. I get what you are saying however when you are referring to style authors, u are referring to those who tweak current themes or images. This is the main prob...

Re: - Ideas for phpBB 3.2 -
Correct me if I am wrong, BBCode is an easy HTML. If it uses HTML as the backbone, then we have a problem. HTML5 removes the functionality of alignments. You have to use CSS for that. So, making the alignments default when more and more browsers are moving into HTML5 would in theory be a waste. Whe...
