heh, I've been notifying my admin on a forum I like to post at about the upcoming phpbb 2.2....................I want him to upgrade to v2.2 as soon as it is released!

I'm just spreading the word left and right............phpbb2.2 really, really turns a lot of people on.

I would not switch over yet........it's as unstable as hell on a cold day. But, I'm definitely going to start spreading the word. I know a lot of people who probably will replace their Yabb/IPB boards when they hear of this new version. Again, great work and thanks a bunch to the nice people who are...

Same here. You developers really, really, really have something to be proud of. This area51 board does not do the CVS version Justice. I took one look at the admin's panel and...................well, I'm dropping my IPB board for phpbb as soon as it is realeased. Very, very impressive. :) I just hop...

Updates every 40 minutes?!

I noticed that on the page where one can download snapshots of phpBB 2.1, it says that updates are realeased like every 40 minutes? is each up date different from the one before it?

I downloade the development snashot of version 2.1. Is it possible for me to upload and run it on my own website (I currently am running phpbb 2.0.10 on my website)? :) I'll probably wait for the stable realease----I just want to know if it is even possible to run the snapshot version BTW: I have so...
