nothing slow about your site Jay888 but then it could be the time I am looking. one suggestion is you could create a new database and transfer over to it (sometimes shared servers can be consumed at certain times by one busy site). .. oh and most forums I know run on godaddy ;) good luck on that one.

I choose a basic style for my forum and made a lot of color changes. Disconnected from the forum and when I went back, all the changes were gone. I typed Ctrl + F5 and the changes came back. How can I make my changes permanent so that when I (or a member)enter the forum see the same consistency and...

yip - happens nearly all the time when wanting to reply (depends whether a sip on some coffee coincides with the page loading).
even worse is a page full of images - try previewing the post??? - takes forever - you can stop the browser but the connection keeps on grabbing the previews.

With many subforums it would be a benefit to users to actually see a difference between read_subforums and unread_subforums. On the Index, when a subforum has a new topic/post, the forum_unread_subforum.gif appears. Knowing which subforum has the new topic/post (of interest to the user of course) is...
