Re: [3.3.x][Feature] Topic description

That isn't the point. The whole purpose, last I knew, was to keep the code as minimal as possible. Sure stuff can be added that would benefit everyone but I haven't seen a feature request acted upon in quite a long while. Topic descriptions don't really add anything and are, at best, for a very limi...

Re: [3.3.x][Feature] Topic description

You can check the image to see that... if you know how to do it. ;) I don't have time to check every image on the internet to see if it was edited or not. That is a waste of time and effort. -1 for the request. I don't think it's needed and, as you have proven, can easily be accomplished via an ext...

Re: [3.3.x][Feature] Topic description

If you made an extension why are you requesting that it be added to the core? I didn't realize you had used an event. For all I know you edited a screenshot and added stuff to the image.

Re: [3.3.x][Feature] Topic description

There are events that are available and can be used to achieve what it is you are looking for. There is also this 3.0 mod which can be ported.

Re: [3.3.x][Feature] Topic description

The idea comes from Categories Hierarchy by Pierre (pthrijk), a phpBB2 fork, at those times. Somebody here can easily recall of this, Rich? Yes I remember that quite well and Pierre (aka pthirik) taught me quite a bit of what I know now. In fact, I great deal of how phpBB evolved was due to that mo...

Re: Text formatter differences

Well I know this change will effect quite a few extensions. Chat extensions, a few of mine and apparently one of David's. For others that care, using this $url = $this->root_path . 'memberlist.' . $this->php_ext . '?mode=viewprofile&u=' . $this->user->data['user_id']; $color = $this->user->data[...
