Yes...
Wouldn't it be possible to convert posts automatically by a recursive call of the converter script? So you don't need to sit hours and hours in front of your computer starring at the screen while waiting for the next 200 converted posts...

Re: phpBB2 -> phpBB3 Upgrade Script Discussion
You'll find the table prefix in config.php of your old Board... I still have the problem with Internal Server Error. Premature end of script headers: index.php Plain vanilla installation of phpbb3 works fine. The error appears after the screen with: All pre-conversion steps have successfully been co...

Re: Conspiracy Theory - it will never come out!
<?php $noob = 'I say nothing interesting'; echo $noob; ?> Even such simple kinds of programs may cause different errors. You can't examine the funcationality of a PHP-Script without taking a look at the Apache and the PHP configuration... If you give such a program to a thousand people there will b...

Re: Beta 2 live?

Re: Great Job
...slow down! The topic starter just wanted to say " Hey guys you are doing a good job " There's no need to start a flamewar since he made the "mistake" to mention the word "bug". In my humble opinion an encouragement - no matter what kind of - never will be bad thing.....

Re: Great Job
Sorry mate if I'm being rude but what you do with the CVS code or whatever you find in it is 'for your eyes only'. I don't think it's helpful telling us 'bugs' (this is work in progress, mind you) you found 2 weeks ago have been fixed. Where is your problem? He just complemented the developer team....

Re: Calendar ?
I also need a calendar for my community, but in my opinion is that a feature the bigger part of the user really don't depend on. A bulletin board primary is a place for discussion and not an all-in-one device suitable for every purpose. I don't like boards with lots and lots of installed functions, ...

Re: Beta to RC Upgrade Path
Yes for someone who understands how php works that will be easy enough. But someone who relies entirely on the install or upgrade script may find it a bit more difficult. For someone who doesn't understand "how php works", I wouldn't recommend installing a Beta-Version... Either you are a...
