Re: phpvBB?

forgive me for butting in, but i hope this would be an appropriate place and time to ask; with features in 3.0 turned off, will there be any noticable overhead? i can see fick's point of view in that all the features even when turned off might bog a board down although i really dont understand how ...

Re: Yet another question on template::alter_block_array

The second capture is never used. Ever. It is simply a waste. The code you speak of: // This one will handle varrefs WITH namespaces $varrefs = array(); preg_match_all('#\{(([a-z0-9\-_]+?\.)+?)([a-z0-9\-_]+?)\}#is', $code, $varrefs); The comment explains why there is a second pattern. Re: Acyd's Antics, an inconsistency in the code

Ah, now it all makes much more sence... I thought you guys were gonna just start improving transactions or something of the like... Well, you did with mysqli... Anyway, whats up with count() being replaced with sizeof()? That one is still a mystery I cannot fathom from this end.. Perhaps it's just ...

GrahamJE has explained to me that you hijacked the Beagle 2 probe for this purpose. May I just express my approval of this, and my hope that it involved huge lasers.

Re: Gmail goes POP3

I think the idea is to get everyone hooked on the GMail drug, then make features like POP3 paid when it goes out of beta. Or, they have discovered a magical, legal money tree and they're using it to fund their madness.
