Look at the mods in the main website for auto usergroups

If not available now - it will be.

BUT if you auto register them - you have an opt out email list - and that breaks LOTS of contries rules.

The way I suggested is an opt in method which is acceptable.

Admins can send bulk email from the adminCP - and that has the option of chosing which usergroups should receive.

In fact this is available in phpBB2 as standard too.

The way I read those posts is that RC3 follows - but it may well turn out to be the gold version - dependant on how many bugs are found after it is issued.

Why not have a open usergroup - and get them to 'ask' to join that 'newsletter' usergroup.

That way they have the option of adding themself - and of removing at any time.

And the good news no coding is required.

And prosilver is missing the next and previous topic links which is available in subsilver2.

(while viewing a topic you can switch to the next or previous topic without going back to the rooms index.)

Have youi tried the main site - perhaps its the support rooms you want - and they are at that main site

Do not think you can remove someone from the registered user group - except possibly to the inactive users. I think the use of 'NEVER' is going to be very few and far between. It is a useful function where you might use a 'banned usergroup' (group level permissions) or to restrict individual members...

That was for phpBB2 - not 3.

I think if you check the mods pages at the main phpBB.com forum you will find one for phpBB3.
