Re: where can i get this mod?

You're better off waiting for the main site to come back on (shouldn't be much longer I don't think) and actually get the board working before you look at adding MODs.

Re: Ok new problem major error

The phpBB3 folder is totally separate to photopost. They're not related in any way.
You can delete the phpBB3 folder if you want to. It won't bring photopost back to life though. That seems to be a separate issue which you should ask about on their own site.

Re: changing banners

The install folder is one you have to upload as part of the updating process. If you haven't put it on to the server you will get a 404 error. It can't find what isn't there.

Re: "register" button disappeared

It's usually one of two things. 1) You've turned off registration. Admin panel>general>user registration settings>account activation. If that is on disable then no one can sign up. 2) You've got a style which is not the same version as the rest of the files on the board. Although you have the defaul...

Re: upgrading from 2 to 3

Basically, you must have both phpBB2 and phpBB3 installed on the same server. After you have finished installing phpBB3 you will have the option to convert your phpBB2 board using the built in converter. The information it asks you for is related to the phpBB2 installation and can be found in its co...

Re: changing banners

Updating using the method suggested is virtually risk free. The main file not to overwrite is the config.php file. You have no issues with losing users or posts as they are in the database. The link I posted is only an example. You would need to upload some files and change yoursite.com to your own ...

Re: Chat and Calendar in phpbb3 ??

Neither are standard features.
You will need MODs for them. It's probably best to wait for the main site to come back online (hopefully not much longer) and then check out the MODs forums.

They may have been on a free forum host which had them pre-installed.
