Re: New CAPTCHA

Would this be better? no color difference, but its still fairly easy to read. The lines directly connect, so mabey that will screw a bot around. That's nifty and unique from the CAPTCHA forms I've seen. SESE No probemo. And I like the no color dependency b&w for the 8% color-challenged. I see t...

Re: phpBB3 BETA, here

FEEDBACK I've been doing some testing on the CVS and figure it's good now for the mySql db, so this morning I installed last night's CVS. Smooth. Nice install went well. There are maybe a halfdozen formatting twixts that I found need to be done. Those will be reported via Highway of Hell's testing s...

BTW I tested that ban function (1hr on myself and it times right down to the minute!) and really like the new banned-for-interval choices; rather than having to remember to go back in and ?un-ban? the user.

Whilst that is true in the Queen's English, who knows when it's American English... how many times have you seen "I could care less", when in the Queen's English it should be "I could n't care less". ;) Ya, and when someone says "All but..." Like "He is all but de...

and it's only a security risk if the board admin is a friggin' idiot and enables script and object and a ton of other *beep* like that which people shouldn't need under any circumstances. You just described 95% of the board admins out there. ... and the other 5% are liars !!-

Re: Suspecting beta release very very soon!

I think what NNO-Stephen is talking about is that phpBB 3 won't support the use of HTML in posts (unlike phpBB 2). Isn't allowing html in posts generally considered a security risk ? That's what my understanding is; and I've seen few if any phpBB2 based forums where it's enabled ... So getting rid ...
