I get that but we need captcha to help fight off spam. Quite a conundrumM.Gaetan89 wrote:I think (but didn't check) that, on the registration page, you have a link to the contact page if you can not read/answer the captcha. So puting a captcha on the contact page might be a non-sense (in this case at least).

Re: [RFC] Contact Page
Now I can see Contact page here in area51. It seems it's merged thanks. This system use captcha? No, the page is linked on registration if the user is unable to solve the captcha. @ Nick - I don't understand what you mean :| I clicked the "Contact Us" page as a guest (as if I wanted to co...

Re: Contact Page - a couple of changes?
However, is there an option in the ACP to enable captcha? That's a good idea, but forget the option -- just always have CAPTCHA enabled for guests (if you're logged in, don't display the CAPTCHA unless, maybe, you're in the Newly Registered Users group). However, the Contact page should indicate wh...

Re: Contact Page - a couple of changes?
When viewing the contact page as a guest, "Your email address" field should be below the "Your name" field, as that's how it usually is. I see your point but an argument could be made that the email address is actually more important than the name. I'm fine with it either way. H...

Private Messages should remain as is. Members shouldn't have to dig through the UCP for quick access to Private Messages.

Re: Define max-width for prosilver
That's sort-of what I had in mind when I asked about the size being able to be changed via the ACP.Pony99CA wrote:I wonder if somebody could write a style tweaker, sort of like ColorizeIt, but geared for phpBB so that it could control classes and CSS attributes.

No problem... Thanks!PayBas wrote:No, but it's an easy enough edit to make yourself. We want to keep the ACP and the style separate as much as possible.keith10456 wrote:The max-width will be able to set via the ACP?

The overall concept sounds like it makes sense. However, I look forward to the comments of others that are more experienced/advanced in website design.

Re: Define max-width for prosilver
Since we will introduce a max-width, that means that there will be quite a lot of #FFF on both sides, especially on high-res devices. It's incredibly bright. We could do something similar to what phpbb.com does. White wrap, darker bg. fx.png +1 With the shadows. The max-width will be able to set vi...

Re: Set Meta keywords and description
+1
I don't see how it hurts to have keywords listed. Site descriptions are definitely beneficial. However, there is the problem with duplicate descriptions though as Neil stated. Not sure if there's a way to remedy that considering that the site description is in the header.
