Re: Extension development: too short table and columns names

Using shorthands/acronyms is the way to go. As it is now, no need to add rules/regulations here IMHO. mae_settings ---> MyAwesomeExtension_settings If I may say mine I'd like to see people involved in much more important things such as closing long standing tickets etc. etc. The more the better. :)

Re: Support for Emojis

At the end of all, what to do? If the admin disables the smilies then also the emojis are disabled.

Re: Support for Emojis

Because of my question to them, they've understood their license is unclear. That's why they are going to change it. That's not what I read here It looks like phpBB is in the clear since it's only using the free assets for display but not including them for redistribution. We plan to make changes t...

Re: Support for Emojis

I have an answer from EmojiOne on how the emojis are used currently in phpBB: HI Martti, Thank you for your patience. It looks like phpBB is in the clear since it's only using the free assets for display but not including them for redistribution. We plan to make changes to our Free Licensing Terms ...

Wont title attribute in emoji tag solve credit line problem?
Not really, they are really nitpicking ... ofcourse.

That's the real excerpt from their rules.

In the footer of every page where emoji are shown
So I am assuming that the credit line should do it better. My personal 2 €uroCents.

Re: Support for Emojis

It seems to me martti you are bound to make bigger something that could be easily dealt with. IMHO. Let's examine the facts/license. https://www.emojione.com/licenses/free#attribution * Free license allows for use of non-vector (PNG) icons, up to 128px - in fact ( https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/emojione/a...

Re: PHPBB3-13919 - Syntax highlighting in [code]

Thanks for the interest. We went to codemirror due to its power, as an example here's the rendered PHP with lines. A grab from our extension's environment, in the future I will see to extract the code in order to make a separated extension from it. . codemirror_php.png . There in ACP the textarea ha...
