Re: PHPBB4 died?
So maybe delete the phpBB4 subforums? And make a brief announcement or something?

Re: [RFC] Integrate s9e\TextFormatter
We already give error messages for things like images being too large and stick in Preview mode if somebody else has posted and the Enable post review forum option is on. This would be no different. It would be different. (By the way, I don't know that phpBB gives an error message for posting too l...

Re: [RFC] Integrate s9e\TextFormatter
I agree with JoshyPHP. Blocking the post of the user is way overkill and would annoy the hell out of people.

Re: Switch styles and language from any page
But what percentage of boards have multiple languages that are being used? This sort of feature should be easily do-able in an extension, I'm not sure I see a reason yet to have this as a core feature. I agree with you, an extension would be more than fine. I was just saying that there are a good n...

Re: Switch styles and language from any page
Language switching makes sense for guests if there are sections of the board in their preferred language. However, how many **** speaking users would register for a **** board if all of the posts are in ****? A lot. Easy language switching is extremely helpful. And of course there are countless exa...

Re: Remove Quote and Edit button when topic is lock
If any change is made, I agree with either greying out the buttons. Removing the buttons in this case for users that would normally be able to perform such actions in the forum would lead to confusion and a waste of time figuring out what the issue is. The first time. Then you would know that the t...

Re: Remove Quote and Edit button when topic is lock
I'd remove them completely (except for moderators, as we said). If the topic is locked, is locked, and the "locked" button would be displayed as it is right now, at the end and beginning of the topic. If people look for these buttons and don't find them they'll inmediately know that the to...

Re: Moving topics: narrow the drop-down list
I think they can. I'm using 3.10 but it can't have changed in 3.11. Otherwise the feature would be useless.
I suposse the "forums" grayed out are categories.

Re: cannot tell which version one is installing
Actually, now that I think about it, what would be the point of listing the version you're installing on the install page? :? Errr... to know wich version are you installing? Maybe you renamed the file, or you forgot, or you copied it from some where, or... I didn't realise the version number wasn'...
