Re: Friends/Foes

The ability to ignore people is a useful feature and should not be removed. Renaming foes to something like "Ignore List" would be a good idea since foes isn't very clear on what it does. This sounds like a sensible solution and I agree. The "friends" portion of this doesn't rea...

Re: Reputation Points

I don't think so. Mod/Extension would be enough.

Re: [RFC] extending default BBCodes

Don't like, don't want, don't need the font tag. Please don't.

Reading a topic with 5 differente font types with their different sizes, spacing, etc. is a nightmare.

Re: [RFC] Include mobile style

After a recent website team meeting [whilst discussing this as it's being developed by the website team] it was pointed out that it is better to have a mobile style with JS than no mobile style. If the mobile doesn't have JS then it will automatically revert back to prosilver. The majority of mobil...

Re: [RFC] FAQ Manager

It's been downloaded over 17,000 times. I'm not sure what you mean by not worth it, what is the drawback that you're thinking of that makes this not worth it? I was thinking about having yet another option (tab) on the ACP. It's crowed enough right now. It's not a big deal, but, you know, I'd prefe...

Re: [RFC] FAQ Manager

I have indeed done so, editing the file and reuploading. Not pretty, but as I've said, not even 1 in a 100 admins would use this easier method.
Maybe it's just a tiny addition to the core, but not worth it in my opinion.

Re: [RFC] FAQ Manager

I don't really think that many people would benefit from this. Nobody reads the FAQ, anyway. :P

Better as an extension, in my opinion.

Re: [RFC] New Forum permission for viewing other users' topics

Well, I don't know if I understand it correctly, but I think that the permission only kicks in if the forum is set to Private Only Read Own Topics Forum (or whatever you want to call it), so the default should be No.

Re: [RFC] New Forum permission for viewing other users' topi

Hi. 1. One role, based on limited. If the permission, as I understand it, allows the people having it to read others' topics, then I'd say: 2. ROLE_DESCRIPTION_FORUM_READ_OTHERS And f_read_others . Edit: I forgot to say that I think this feature should be in the core. If you don't want it just don't...
