I'll try to install some mod with EM in regular mode and will see what happen. In bad case, I will manually copy or move files into their respective folders.

I successfully went through installation process, just have to manually move files to their respective folders. I am curious whether EM would work properly in Safe Mode.

Well I have just spoke to my provider who explained me that Safe Mode couldn't be turned off and everything should be made also with Safe Mode. Do you have any idea?

I will try to install EM again with new folders+files permissions.

OK, I have set all folders to 755 except weblogs\upload (777) where images are uploaded by blog users (I have tried it with 755 but it doesn't work) as well as images\avatars (777) that is used for avatar upload. Unfortunately, I haven't found where to turn off Safe Mode, so I'll ask my host provider.

Do you think all phpbb files should be set on 644 and folders on 755? I'll try to find where to turn Safe Mode off.

OK, I found it on wGEric post originally by GPHemsley. Yeah, I know, I was blind. I did the correction of that php code and it works.

Could you help me to solve this? I have clearly installed a new 2.0.15 forum. My first installation was an EasyMOD which failed between 4 and 5 steps. There was an message on some non-critical error on step 4 which finaly results into an error on step 5!
