Re: 3.1 notifications somewhat difficult to read
I tend to agree. Facebook is not the holy grail, and I personally don't think their notifications are ideal. Especially not for phpBB. Thing is that Facebook has over 1 billion of monthly active users who have got used to reading notifications the way Facebook does it, and Facebook aims to satisfy ...

Re: Login without password
"He dont have to remember password and noone can steal his password." -> That is the advantage. However , the links in e-mails would go through mail servers. On the contrary, when you login at a forum with your username and password, it all happens at that specific forum. Noone else gets y...

Re: 3.1 notifications somewhat difficult to read
Since the issue here is about notifications being difficult to read I suggest that we also think about this:
Are notifications difficult to read on Facebook? (since the concept of our notification box has been inspired by Facebook's)
Maybe all we need is to improve the styling.

Re: 3.1 notifications somewhat difficult to read
With text-overflow: ellipsis, and avatar margin-right slightly increased. Untitled-2.png Same size for all avatars? Yes, of course. Better styling for dates (smaller font, other shade etc.)? Sure, yeah. Different approach to the notification text? Please don't :| In my opinion, "Sumanai quoted...

Perhaps it would be nice to have an extension or a core feature for profile previews whenever we hover over a username. Like Facebook does it.

Re: Advanced CMS system in Phpbb
- phpBB 3.1 has now extensions (instead of MODs) which can be easily installed/uninstalled. - You can copy the prosilver style, edit the CSS and create your own style out of it. I agree that it's a hassle. What do you propose? Which CMS does it better and how does it do it? - I don't understand what...

Um, ressurecting this one as I consider it an important one too.
If it is too much right now for 3.1, could it be possible to implement it for 3.2?

Re: [RFC] Limit the subforums in legend to 1 level.
I think 99% would either want to display 1 level, or all. Isn't it what we were talking about? Option for one or all. And have one of the two be the default for every forum (one level or multi-level). So in the end, for every forum, we'll have a "List subforums in legend" option, a "...
