Re: Will phpBB3 have MODs?
Like I said, there are better ways of doing it. Here's an example of how you can add a new field to a page object in Drupal and also add a new form, all done by means of API calls. http://drupaldocs.org/api/4.6/function/nodeapi_example_nodeapi" target="_blank The only actual permanent chan...

Re: Will phpBB3 have MODs?
Again, modules that interface with the core functions by means of hooks is way better! MODs are technically archaic!

Re: Feature suggestion: easy updates (like Firefox)
Step one would be to desert the whole MOD idea totally. It's way better to use modular functions that interface with core functions through hooks, the way Drupal does it. Gives you full plug-in-ness as well as well full flexibility as you simply need to download functions and install them. You can d...

Re: seo
Well I personally love the way Drupal does this with clean URLs and Apache rewrite rules. Maybe something worth looking into?

Re: Default 2.2 theme. Images to optimised PNG?
There is no pretty way to make IE render PNGs with alpha-channels nicely. All the methods are messy and require external scripts and stylesheets. Added to that IE's buggy box model for objects and it's generally buggy render engine makes for one crappy browser. Well, I only use Firefix now and it's ...

EMC MODs
Is there currently any list of EMC MODs? I've downloaded MODs from phpbb.com and not even these are compliant, often because the MOD authors write absolute paths. I'd like to know which ones that work and which that don't. Seems some of the largest MODs don't work with EM yet. I was hoping not havin...

Re: Chronicles Skin for 2.2!!
Copyright, to an extent. This is not my area, I'm no intellectual propert expert, but I dare say: don't attempt it , or I'll be hunting you down and I'll call in my lawyer buddies! But that shouldn't be necessary, all it takes it some respect on your part and my firm belief that any phpBB community ...

Re: Chronicles Skin for 2.2!!
Well, the name isn't a registered trademark and registering it would just be pointless as I've never intended to sell Chronicles.
I'm not law expert, but stealing the name wouldn't be nice. I don't like people that aren't nice.

Yep, that's us, but the style work is something that all teams are involved in at the time being.
