Re: [ask] Is it possible to add mods into phpbb core?

Yes but only fis oemthing was needed and it already exists as a good MOD, no point in reinveting the wheel. I'm against overbloating phpBB with unneeded things, thats the beauty of MODS - its sometihng some need but others dont, so they install it. That's why I like phpBB over vBulletin or IPB (oth...

Re: [RFC] UMIL

I agree with this idea fully, especially for the point you made where older version of UMIL overwrite newer versions in MODs that are validated before the new release of UMIL. I think it should be a standard feature of 3.1.

Re: Multi Quote (or even Multi Moderation)

Multi-quote already exists - to a degree. Once you reply or quote a post, you can click on the quote button in the topic review box below the textarea you are writing your post in. I believe the way this is implemented is really counterintuitive so we should look into selecting posts for quotation ...

Re: Page Titles - Unnecesarily wrong, Review Them

You can get to the topics from the forum and from the forum to the topics. lol you just said the same thing twice. Anyway, that is a good point, but I still don't like having the extra words because static information clutters dynamic information. Most of the relevent, dynamic information should be...

Re: Multi Quote (or even Multi Moderation)

Multi moderation exists, click on the Moderator Control Panel when viewing a forum, and a topic for multi post moderation. He means doing more than one moderation action on a whole topic... not multi-post moderation. So for instance, being able to lock and stick a topic in one click. Or being able ...

Re: Multi Quote (or even Multi Moderation)

I am making a Topic Multi-Moderation MOD for 3.0 which I plan to convert to 3.1. I don't know of any plans by the phpBB developers team to implement it in the core.

As for multi-quoting, I'm not sure. :)

Re: Page Titles - Unnecesarily wrong, Review Them

I agree with most of what was said because there is too much information stored in the topic title. For instance... yourdomain.com • View Topic • <topic title> Could be: <topic title> • yourdomain.com So basically, just flip them around and remove the unnecessary descriptive text (e.g. "view to...

Re: Automatic UTF-8 normalization

This would definitely be a nice change so that I don't have to keep normalizing all the user input. That function takes a long time to type, especially using it multiple times.

Anyway, I agree with eviL3 on the placement, and it should be fine to apply it twice.
