Re: Login name and password.
It must be your browser doing it, not phpBB. Did you log into any OTHER board using the same username, using his PC?
Other users will NOT have your password filled in.

Re: Is it possible to have another password for the ACP
.... What is the situation with those that have logged on but not changed their password since joining the phpBB2 Forum. Do I need to request all the active members of my phpBB2 Forum now active on my phpBB3 Forum to change their passwords?? That doesn't matter. Just logging in is enough for their ...

Re: Is it possible to have another password for the ACP
Thanks for the tip but I am a "WINDOWS" users. Which folder should I protected if I was Linux.? So your web server software is IIS? If it is on shared hosting, then you almost certainly do NOT have the facility to password protect folders. This is one of the many reasons that people prefe...

Re: Is it possible to have another password for the ACP
Is it possible to have another password for the ACP? I am Moderator and use the same users name and password for Login and accessing the ACP. Re: Support Request: Too Many Problems!!
If you have no MODs, then I suggest you replace ALL your files (except config.php) from the latest "full install" package, as described in the installation notes. (There's a copy here: http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/docs/INSTALL.html#update_full ) This won't harm your custom style, although...

If you have ever edited your language files, read: viewtopic.php?p=196576#p196576
Corrupting ./language/en/common.php can do this.

Re: Switched hosts, now getting spam
As Darcie said, you have a permission problem, not CHMOD.
Use the "Permission masks" feature in the ACP to see what permission is letting everyone post (i.e. the "guest" usergroup).

Re: Warning System
So Forumotion isnt PHPBB?? No. They are a "free forum host". They are using a modified/crippled version of phpBB3, and do not give you direct access to the files. Also, that style you are using has removed the phpBB copyright from the footer, which disqualifies you from ANY support from us.
