The upgrade script from v2 to v3 should be available with the RC1 release.

Don't forget that phpBB3 has much better captcha so it should stop the bots from signing up in the first place.

And things like the custom registration fields mean you can add things that only a human would know the answer to.

Who knows. The code is still being developed so any of it can change.

I just tried the updater on my easyphp B3 install and I must say, it's really nice.

Easy to set up, walks you though in logical steps and even gets the new files for you.

The point of using beta3 is to find and report bugs so we can move to beta4 or RC1.

If you're running beta2 live you're better off scrapping it now than later when you have lots of members, no upgrade path and big security holes.

Install phpbb2 and wait for the official v2 to v3 upgrade.
