Uhh....
Yeah, in Basic (hope this doesn't show my age too much!), VB, C, C++, C#, Java, Pascal, PHP, perl, ASM (16bit), *beep*, prolog, possibly a few that I've missed.

Re: The new phpBB version - Guess the Release Date Competition
Hmm. I guess that if the girl who started this contest (NeoThermic) weren't a member of the support team, this thread would have been locked at first sight. I like the way phpBB.com moderators distinguish spam posts from others simply linking to somewhere... I'm not getting special treatm...

Re: Captchas and Human Readability - Discussion
it is usually very easy to read. ;) That appears to be your undoing, as it wouldn't take too long to get some code to locate those letters, and pass the letter locations to an OCR (they are better these days than you think). You should add some form of distortion or noise, else it'll be trivial to ...

Re: Is phpbb3 completly rewritten?
The visual confirmation in 2.x is backported from 3.x if I remember - but then substantially re-written again for 3.x anyway... Yes, the zlib emulation code was backported into the visual confirmation. However, the bulk of the visual confirmation that is in 2.0 has always been in 2.0, if only in th...

Re: Is phpbb3 completly rewritten?
Being serious for a moment, I can think of about two sections of code that are similar between 2.0 and 3.0, and both have been due to backporting from 3.0. The first is the sessions code in 2.0.x after 2.0.18 is based around that of 3.0, of which improvements and changes were forwardported from the ...

Re: Upgrading from phpbb3 beta 1 to beta 3?
As has been stated a few times already, there is no support for upgrading between the beta releases. EXreaction: post something like that again and your PM rights will be removed. No support means no support, offical or not. There are very good reasons for this, and if you do not see them you're wel...

Re: Captchas and Human Readability - Discussion
Just a small point, asking math questions isn't a good idea. A lazy bot writer doesn't have to parse much bar a google result page: http://www.google.com/search?q=What%27s%202%20minus%201%3F" target="_blank With a bit of programming, I'm very sure most of the questions you've put in as sam...

Re: Predicting Beta 3 release today!
although formalistically correct, i think that neo, as one of the team, should know better than to suggest something he should know is complete nonesense. Lets get the gender right first. Next, I think you need to be a little less cirtical of the team, especially when such things are said in jest. ...

Re: Predicting Beta 3 release today!
Haha...for some reason Acid's post there gave me hope that the release of Beta 3 is coming soon. Something about the way he said that. (Especially the seemingly unneccesary addition of the "/if" to the word "once." Well, of course it will be released sometime. ;) ) But this is j...

Re: Consensus on Attachment Extensions..
Let it be noted that the suggested directory to put in the ACP for uploaded files is one that is not web accessable; then all your comments about hotlinking/vulnerabilities are null and void.
