Re: New User Profile

Looks nice, not sure that a wall system needs to be in core but update profile page will be great.

Re: BBcodes

Maybe the user should not be able to delete core bbcodes, but will be able to disable them?

Re: Extensionalize phpBB

As a user I would love to see more functionality in the core and not vice versa. Extensions required extra effort from the admin , especially since installing and updating is via ftp. Look at IPB 4.2 for example, they add features into core: https://invisioncommunity.com/news/invision-community-42-r...

Re: [RFC][3.3.x] Supported PHP versions

I think it is. Say you have currently phpBB 3.1 running. That requires a host running on PHP 5.x. Of you want to upgrade to phpBB 3.3, you need to run that on the same host usually. Since phpBB 3.1 doesn't run on PHP 7.x and (as proposed) phpBB 3.3 doesn't run on PHP 5.x, you have a problem: you ca...

Re: [RFC][3.3.x] Supported PHP versions

b.3.) It blocks direct upgrades from phpbb 3.1 or earlier, as they don't support php7 at all... No easy testing or rollback. Potential for nightmare upgrade issues. This is really strong argument. Even when we decide for 7.0, upgrade process must work on 5.4, or we won't allow users to directly upg...

Re: [RFC][3.3.x] Supported PHP versions

Two things: A) If you go to php7, this should entails a major version - i.e. phpbb 4.x - otherwise there is no sense to having minor/major versions. Semantic but important imho, as php7 will be a major BC break. B) I would urge to go to php 5.6 as going to 7 is b.1.) Most of the user base is still n...

Re: phpBB 3.1.10 RC1 released

Is 3.2RC2 waiting for 3.1.10 to be released, or no connection?

Re: New Style for phpBB 3.3 ?

I really like forum index, I see that you used two columns for the stats and who is online. Is there an option to make it a configuration selection to use single column vs. two columns on desktop? So the forum index is on a wide column and all the other things are on a narrow column, like here: http...

Re: New Style for phpBB 3.3 ?

Looking good both the ACP and style.
The only thing in the style it seems a bit cluttered - the topic list is not in "focus" - which it should be imho.

Re: New Style for phpBB 3.3 ?

I would like to suggest in new style, to remove the constant icon on the view forums list. It is ugly IMHO and not customisable. It should be replaced by user selected icon or none. Forum should be marked with other way to mark it has unread posts - maybe CSS effect - if wanted by users.
