Support for phpBB is given at phpbb.com and not here at Area51. Also, that style is for phpBB2 and not phpBB3.

Just to clarify, the limit is not in the FTP client, it's in the FTP daemon's settings. cPanel defaults to 2000 (1998 files/directories plus . and ..).

It's used for attachments. The path comes from the upload_path value in the config table.

Please note that we have a six hour bump limit.

As for your error, remove that drop statement from the list of queries if it is giving a problem.

phpBB 2.0.x is no longer supported. You will need to either convert or find a phpBB2 support site.

Uncomment (remove the //) from the two debug lines in config.php and see if any messages appear on search.php.
