Re: Skiplink to next post (accessibility)
Just to recap, if it were possible to manipulate the block variable in the template <a href="{[color=#FF4000]postrow.POST_NUMBER + 1[/color]}" my most recent suggestion would work without any changes to the PHP code. It's just a question of restyling. phpbb does not allow math in template...

Re: Skiplink to next post (accessibility)
We already have anchors for each post in the topic. If they can be reused as skiplink targets, this might be the solution I would prefer. Then perform an extra pass over the posts' data before assigning it to template to set the skiplink target for each post. The last post's skiplink should go to th...

Re: "Official" integration with Akismet
Reading akismet's site I don't get the impression that they mean to charge non-personal sites which are not blogs. Perhaps someone could email them and get a clarification.

Re: Control-Enter for form submission
I'm not going to discuss this any further when the team applies double standards for the debate. You are confusing users who want someone else to implement functionality for them and developers who implement what they want themselves. Frankly, I don't care if the function was added or not, I was me...

Re: [RFC] WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor
Why not make it modular so that board owners or users can choose which editor they want to use? I had thought the same originally as well, but there is a potential for a bit of a problem when allowing that: With people using different WYSIWYG editors, if not all of them work correctly and parse tex...

Re: WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor
Those who want to use ckeditor or another editor should put their efforts toward coming up with an interface between wysiwyg editor and the rest of phpbb which would allow plugging in different client side implementations of the editor. Can someone summarize the current custom bbcode situation with ...

Re: Area51 RFC Prefix
I have not been using RFC prefix for a while now. It mostly seems to be fine. The biggest loss I would guess is in quick distinction between topics where real work tries to happen (RFCs) and all the other ones. But this probably applies to release managers more than everyone else. Maybe we could mak...

Re: Control-Enter for form submission
I am going to quote you fully as you wish: I just use TAB to go to the desired post button (preview or submit). That works fine too. Shift + Alt + S also works, I don't think it's needed to add a third way to post using keybord-only . As said, there already are 2 ways to submit keybord-only. There's...

Re: Control-Enter for form submission
I made a proposal which would 1) benefit at least one person (myself), 2) had a non-zero possibility of actually being implemented. What happened to only implementing things that benefited the majority of users? Not just some. The majority, as evidenced again by the two people I quoted, do not care...

Re: Control-Enter for form submission
Well, since we're already on page 4 of discussion about something this trivial, I'd say there isn't consensus about it. Lack of consensus is not what happened here. This "discussion" has had one side not paying attention to the other side. I made a proposal which would 1) benefit at least...
