Re: Releasing 3.1.11

Thanks a lot Marc, but I did read it, and specifically calls for the SECURITY tracker, not the regular tracker, and that is not mentioned anywhere else. That is why I asked.

And again, thanks A LOT! You are dedicating a load of time! And the rest of the team as well!.

Re: Releasing 3.1.11

What about all the pending issues open on the tracker for 3.1.11? Specially events, simple enough to review... And some bugs... Not enhancements, i understand.
Thanks!

Re: Refactoring template class

Thanks a lot Marc. I can only be but thankful to all the work that the DevTeam and the rest of the phpbb staff volunteer to this, so I perfectly understand priorities. With that in mind is why I proposed the changes BEFORE pushing the PR, because this is something that you may have discarded in the ...

Re: Refactoring template class

Thanks Senky, 3Di.

Just so it is not lost, I have created a PR: https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/pull/4688
But I don't know if it will go anywhere...

PHPBB3-15100 - "last_post_id" meaning is overloaded

Hello, I have found what seems to me an issue with overloading the use of last_post_id (and first_post_id ) with two different meanings. In fact, last_post_id means, sometimes, highest post id , and other times, post id of the latest post time . However, it is always calculated as highest post id, a...

Re: Refactoring template class

can you please elaborate what/why and maybe provide examples for those in the community on exactly this is doing in plain english as a lot of our community are not programers but more board admins/theme authors. May help get more inputs on the benefits to them. Sure. And the answer is easy: this pr...

Re: Potential bug in extension management

I have pushed to github the latest version. If no interest exists, then I will close it. The current solution is as follows (slightly modified quote): cache is in use, with a TTL set at 600 now (10 minutes) and we could make it whatever you think would be ok the "configured" but not "...

Re: Potential bug in extension management

Any arguments why this is a bad idea? Why reliability is a minor issue? And what about consistency? The performance impact is minimal if any: I have not counted them, but how many files are loaded in each and every page load of phpbb? I doubt that some additional file reads every 10 minutes will mak...

Re: Refactoring template class

For the record, I have this ready. Any interest, or should I simply drop it, or keep it to myself?

Bug or feature of unapproved posts?

Hello, Here is the situation: if someone makes a post that needs to go into the validation queue, and someone else posts in the same topic after this without needing validation, when the "validated" post appears in the topic, everyone that might have visited the topic after the next topic ...
