Re: Suspecting beta release very very soon!

Not if they all pick the same day! ROFL...

I'm happy with Beta 1... I wouldn't think it would be six months, that sounds a little too long to me!!

Re: Existing site user integration

Only problem is making them all play nice together! Even if you create a plugin that starts a new session for say coppermine whenever someone logs in, well that's all good but how do you keep the passwords and users synchronised between 2 and maybe (in my case) 3 applications. I'm yet to nut this on...

Re: Colour Blind

I beleive that the dev's should leave in all the policy settings as this allows users to choose their own policies, thus a large number of different types of images can be generated, as well as a large number of different codes. However I agree, the image is FAR too large for general use, perhaps an...

Re: Existing site user integration

Naderman, will there be documentation for developers interested in building such a plugin? I'd certainly be interested in doing a few!

Re: Existing site user integration

I'm planning on doing that with my existing site and integrating the users from phpBB 3.0 into the Mambo system I am running. I'm going to modify that CMS not phpBB3 because phpBB has better user management. THe best way is to allow phpBB to manage registrations and session management and mambo to g...

Re: CVS or Beta?

I would like to use Olympus in a live environment (PLEASE dont give the "its not recommended for use in a live environment" response). Someone will... But there is a large element of sensibility behind this comment as it's not finished and there could be rather large holes in it. I am up ...

Re: How big of a security risk is that 'security risk' reall

Unfortunatley no matter which website you visit there is an element of trust involved. There is always going to need to be that trust between the client and the webmaster, it's a problem that simply cannot be solved easily. But I must say, I don't know why (as a webmaster) you could be bothered stea...

Re: Waited for BETA, for nothing.

Welll.... I'd love to test the beta but the first time I tried to download it I only got a fraction of the archive for some reason... And now I can't get it at all I've tried upwards of 10 sourceforge mirrors... Could the team please host the download on phpbb.com instead of the unreliable sourcefor...

Re: When will RC be released?

Satire is such fun. I'm happy with beta, now I just have to figure out where I'm going to put it for the time being. Seriously running low on mySql databases for my hosting provider (only provide 3, but I can just install it in the same database as my 2.0.XX forum and then just use a different prefi...
