Re: I am very impressed with phpbb 2.2

What's the fuss? Nothing any decent AV won't block, and even without an AV, simple caution should prevent anyone from clicking a message like that which doesn't originate from a moderator here. Just download the page and look at it with a txt viewer and a bell should ring. Its pure stupididity to po...

Re: Sticky posts

Alternatively, a mod with an extra field in the post_table (field denoting type of post - e.g. rubbish, passable, ok, VIP) would allow selecting the most important posts in a topic. At first sight it seems very simple to make, I actually doubt a new field is even necessary. Why not post it as a mod ...

 Yes, that's right, you see I have an eternal typing error problem . Most spellcheckers crash on my typing (as do my mods until they reach RC 154.f  )

Re: A better "Who's online"

... lags like 5 minutes, and when you click on the location of the user it just takes you to the index. The lag is hardcoded (5 minutes) and can be changed (viewonline: the sql in Get user list . hint: 300 sec = 5 min) Similarly the location can be changed (hint: there's a $location_url somewhere w...

Re: Delete yourself

Well would you care to make one... now? There's a slight chance that should this request be made at the correct location, it might be considered. I'm not in favor of this feature anyway. This opens up the possibility for users to sign up as members, remove themselves, sign up again, need ...

Re: Recent CVS

sweeet!!!! phpBB is only .4 KB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your really stupid! Its empty, there is nothing there. Humor isn't your strong point eh? 8) So what if it's empty, in a day or so it'll be half full (half empty?) again and better than the previous CVS (or worse). As a matter of fact the CVS's are ...

Re: Instant Messenger

Frankly I think an instant messenger is way beyond the purpose of a php forum. I see no point in an instant messaging system which could be used when a user is not logged in. And when one is logged in the PM system works instantaneously to get one's attention. If further conversation is deemed neces...

Re: PM's and permissions

No work done yet on the PM system. But IIRC this is planned. thx, I was just going to try a post a last feature request (I have looked around and seen nothing similar) but something stopped me and made me have a look here again. Good thing I did, 'cause I read your reply as though this feature will...
