Re: Prosilver Overhaul/Modernization

Some things in this topic sound interesting while others are not that kind of thing i want to see :/ / what exactly is it you disagree with? also keep inmind that this topic has evolved since its creation and is still massively in flux. Is there anything specific you wish to see changed or fixed. I...

Re: [RFC] Create a new user account through the ACP

I agree this is very useful, as a development tool but not sure what the advantage would be for the average user please elaborate with scenarios might help your case ;)

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites

@David I understand this, however this is what I personally don't like from a developer stand point I'm not saying it does not have it's upsides.

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites

Where is this written? I never saw a statement like that somewhere. There are many designs out which look different (not just colour changes). um its written right here in this topic i just said it :P personally the idea of baseing a theme off of another theme was the stupidest thing the devs have ...

Re: [RFC|Accepted] Include and use jQuery

also not sure if you noticed igorw but I started to make some conversions for some features already in the scripts folder of my theme that you can use for reference. not all of them were fully working but some were. that way you don't have to complete reinvent. I can send it to you over msn if you w...

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites

Though I like the idea, but I can see a lot of work to put into all styles which need to be updated. I, for me, wouldn't want to do that work. I get what you are saying however when you are referring to style authors, u are referring to those who tweak current themes or images. This is the main pro...

Re: Prosilver Overhaul/Modernization

How can I help? I guess that depends on what skills you posses as I stated in the previous post jquery skills are the biggest thing we are in need of? How ever the current process for improvement is to do it piece by piece in order to slowly convert the user base over. This means that each progress...

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites

This would prove to be a nightmare for style authors and custom styles. Rather than displaying a different source file for each image, the system would have to move the CSS background image. That's fine in itself, although restricts custom imagesets to the same size as the prosilver icons. So if a ...
