Re: Quick MOD Moderation Improvements

You can blame me for the current solution - I was adamant it should be separated vs. Bart's integrated. With hindsight Bart's solution would've been superior - so I'd tend to agree with the OP.

Re: [RFC] Template procedures

So - bumping this back after Nil's noted it's existence. I see this is as a kind of "macro" solution (rather than snippet, procedure, function - though a function is what it is). If you were able to send it parameters I could see a use, perhaps. There would also need to be mechanism (imo) to autoloa...

Re: [RFC] Do not default to previous post edit reason

When combined with the revision history it does indeed make sense. I think having it by default without that is a 50/50 thing. It may be the reason can be added to rather than wholesale replaced.

Re: [RFC] New topic button on viewtopic

This was present in phpBB 2.0, if I recall correctly. The reason this was removed, as I understand it, was that there were a significant number of times when people would accidentally click New Topic instead of Post Reply, when trying to post a reply. This - as I said on the PR it's a -1 from me. W...

Re: BBCodebox Light

I like it tbh - it's a "small" change but helps "modernise" up the editor without awaiting a wysiwyg solution. And looks, however much we hate it can dictate opinion. Perhaps it could be tied in with a general overhaul of the editor javascript.

Re: [RFC] Pagination as <ul> list

I pulled out common pagination into a new template which is included where needed. Where it's embedded within a block I retained it as-is.

Re: [RFC] Add greyscale to colour picker

So, assuming a new JS script were introduced - where should it be placed? Should it be considered style specific? Or should it be made available for all styles? Keeping in mind it would need it's own css, which would need be stored either with the "specific" style or somewhere theme non-specific dep...

Re: [RFC] Multiple file uploads

If you want a patch or diff for a given pull request just add .patch or .diff to the PR no. in the url, e.g. https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb3/pull/877.patch

Re: [RFC] Add greyscale to colour picker

Would strongly support a refactor of the color picker to use jQuery while we're at it. Might as well switch to a decent looking jQuery color picker plugin then. This seems to be nice/simple option. +1 for this - biggest potential downside is when using touch interfaces, may need some investigation?...
