Re: [RFC] notification box

This requires some attention : ... Did the posts require approval initially? Would you be able to quickly test this again with the latest code from a few hours ago? No approval required, User1 is Global Moderator and User2 is Registered User and using the latest code. EDIT: chasing my tail on this ...

Re: [RFC] notification box

This requires some attention : ..Only tested as Admin : Subscribe to forum as Admin. User1 posts a new topic. User2 posts a new topic. Subscribe to both topics as Admin. User1 replies to User2 topic. User2 replies to User1 topic. Check Notifications as Admin then Edit User2 reply to User1 topic as A...

Re: [RFC] notification box

A couple of things. Add {L_TITLE} and {L_NOTIFICATIONS_EXPLAIN} into ucp_notifications.html. Singular [ 1 Notification ] done as per (1 new message). My previous thoughts. Only tested as Admin : Subscribe to forum as Admin. User1 posts a new topic. User2 posts a new topic. Subscribe to both topics a...

Re: [RFC] notification box

... This all should be fixed now. Yes. A thought; when a post is edited, the order of notifications change. How do you know if the change in order reflects a new reply or an edited post? In this case, editing shows the current notification : ... replied to the topic "Swimmingly effective" you have ...

Re: [RFC] notification box

Did you try the latest code from this morning? That username color issue should have been fixed. Yes, latest from this morning - grabbed all changes again and compared and yeah, latest. I would not expect the content of the notification to change when editing another user's post which had nothing t...

Re: [RFC] notification box

The issue of defined group colour goes a little deeper. This shows a notification when a new topic was posted in a forum resulting from subscribing to that forum. Editing a post (as admin) within that subscribed topic? .. magic. Notice here the username changed (top entry along with lost group colou...

Re: [RFC] notification box

A few quirks .. Separation needed between notifications (eg, horizontal line or bg2 bg1 but not sure what ajax will do). Notifications for bookmarked topics show time of Thu Jan 1st, 1970, 12:00pm - this changes to the correct board time when edited (i.e. a post). PM notifications show correctly. If...

Re: [RFC] notification box

Suggestions on "Prettify" Remove extended hover colour and line including the brackets on the [ Notifications ] in overall_header.html by removing [] around language string, adding them to overall_header.html [ <a href="#" title="{L_NOTIFICATIONS}" onClick="$('#notification_list').toggle();">{L...

Re: [RFC|Merged] Extension Admin

It's more than an About box, though -- it contains the description of the extension. Imagine that I have two extensions installed which have similar names. I might not know which one that I want to get rid of, but viewing the description could provide enough information to determine that. It seems ...
