Re: Translation with beta4

Unfortunately it is illegal to install the Beta4 PhpBB Olympus 3.0 CVS into a living environment. It's not illegal- this is wrong. It is only not supported and not welcome by the developers- but e.g. even on the German support forum there is a translation for phpBB3 there- and Acyd Burn is also an ...

Re: Subforums

I don't get your problem... If you think it is a bug (what I possible got) then please post it here: http://www.phpbb.com/bugs/queryreports.php?mode=open&prj=4 BUT please specify your problem, and say what it is, why, on which configuration blabla. :) The developers and the community is very welcomi...

Re: Translation with beta4

Hmm.. Well... It's not really a bug, it's more a request I think, so I have posted it here.
Of course you could do it in a editor, but the sense of the language editing in the ACP wouldn't be that much I think. :)

Re: Translation with beta4

I have one suggestion of the editing of the language files.
It is not very comfortable to edit some long texts e.g. the TERMS_OF_USE_CONTENT in ucp.php (I mean, the register rules everybody must accept.) Would be very nice if the panel would be changed from one single line in a (small) textfield. :D

Re: Sending activation mail not in UTF-8?

To illustrate this, the subject of the incoming mail is displayed in some programms (e.g. Outlook) like this:
:=?UTF-8?B?V2lsbGtvbW1lbiBhdWYg4oCeSS1DYWZmIEZvcnVt4oCcIOKAlCBodHRwOi8vd3d3?= =?UTF-8?B?LmktY2FmZi5kZS9mb3J1bQ==?=

And e.g. the German "für" is displayed like "für". :?:

Thank you!

Sending activation mail not in UTF-8?

I would like to know, if it is possible, to change the sending of emails in the current beta4 from UTF-8 to Iso-8859-1, because some exotic mail programms can't read them... :roll:
Thank you!

Re: Designer handbags wholesale

I guess you're talking about this... Of course... I know it's nearly incredible to avoid spam like this, but phpBB2 (I said, 2 ;)) is quite well-known for being quite vulnerable of spam. :roll: (are sites female in english?) Eh, no... Well, you know the jokes about female computers ;) but normally ...
