Monopolizing Conversations

Is there any way of controlling a poster from monopolizing conversations? Automated I mean?

For example a poster that floods a topic with an excessive number of relies?

I would like to give certain powers to selected members without making them moderator of any particular forum. In particular they need to be able to take control of their own threads with the power to delete replies that go off topic. (This power would only apply if they are the OP) Also the 'privil...

Yes, but I thought that with the new system, images may be uploaded directly into phpBB3 instead of the usual path in the HTML area of my server.

And being a part of php I thought other people might not be able to hotlink to it.

If you know what I mean?

Hotlinking Protection

Does Olympus have a different way of handling images to phpBB2?

Im asking this because Im having a problem with people hotlinking to my images and leaching on my bandwidth. I was hoping that the new version might prevent that. Yes / No?
