Re: Include error pages.

Why? It's a forum, not an entire website, though some sites only have a forum. On my site, I run custom error pages which are designed to fit into my site's style. I know I wouldn't appreciate it if my forum threw some other kind of error pages that I'd have to track down and change and maintain.

Re: [RFC|Accepted] Coding Guideline Modifications

Since I've seen it come up in multiple PR reviews, perhaps the request to have a space after descriptive // style comments should be added to the coding guidelines.

Re: phpbb3.10 dev

so i manually put the file composer.phar there and then this ...requires php (>= 5.3.2.0). No package satisfies this dependency. phpBB 3.1 requires PHP 5.3.2 or greater, and it seems that you don't have that. "good" morning I am a little bit disapointed that suddenly develloppers "cut" poeple from ...

Re: [RFC|Merged] Delete "Confirm e-mail address"

With the removal of the confirmation field, perhaps it would be useful to add something like this: http://blog.kicksend.com/how-we-decreas ... on-email-b
It does some simple domain spell checking for popular email hosts with JavaScript and shows a note if it thinks it's misspelled.

[RFC] Search engine optimization: nofollow

When links are followed from one site to another, search engines will count the source page toward the other site's Page Rank. Links are often posted by users that aren't related to the site's topic (profile/signature links) or that the site would probably not like to "endorse" with its Page Rank. O...

[RFC] Search engine optimization: canonical link elements

To help search engines with duplicate detection, I think it would be a good idea to add a canonical link element to the page header. It is currently possible to reach the same pages under many different URLs, so we are not providing singular addresses to search engines: index.php SID viewforum.php?f...

Re: [RFC] Remove phpBB 2 Convertor

If there is no one who cares enough to test the converter, we should probably remove it. One simply needs to ask. The only issue with the convertor in 3.1 right now is that the search systems are now prefixed with phpbb_search_ . The file name differs from the class name, so instantiating the class...

Re: [RFC] Remove phpBB 2 Convertor

We still see support topics every week about converting from phpBB2. If it works, I would suggest leaving it. If it is sufficiently broken, then I wouldn't put much effort into fixing it.

Re: [RFC] Ability to edit Terms in the ACP

You can already edit language entries through the ACP: System --> Language Packs --> British English
It will make the edits and then let you download the new file.
