Re: What standard does phpBB follow for setting cookies?

During the installation, this bit of code it is the only one used to calculate and (a bit of lines after) store the result into the config. But as some team members already pointed out in one of my PRs dealing with all template events - the problem is with the end user, who needs to see proper description of the event instead of it's identifier. Maybe I could read that from ev...

Events descriptions will be extracted from newest version and somehow injected into extension (maybe language file?), so don't worry :)

Re: GSoC proposal review - Ad management ext

In case you are bound to read from events.md, beware that not all the users upload/update the docs folder. We already discussed this for another case at DOT com. may be is better to rely on the github source or another one. About the resizing, the color issue, I am working on a resizer/rotator/water...

Re: GSoC proposal review

Just a note. the topic title should reflect this specific proposal.

To be taken into consideration is the fact users will ask for image resizing, in case of image banners upload.

Re: New Admin Style for phpBB 3.3?

What I am saying is - "Why invent the wheel twice?" If we are intent on changing the "framework" for styles then let's try and make life easier for extension developers. Currently there is one "framework" (using the term very loosely) for front facing templates and another for ACP templates Case in...

Please notice that phpBB 3.2 is out (features frozen) and phpBb 3.1 is near to the EoL.
This Board is currently running phpBB 3.3-dev, new features are here welcome to be discussed/implemented.

The link to the Harry Robert's site posted into the TS is wrong.

error suppression on constants.php

Line 254 of ./includes/constants.php (phpBB 3.2.x)

Code: Select all

@define('CONFIG_TABLE',				$table_prefix . 'config');
Notice the prepended "@", Is there any particular reason?
